배용준(위 사진), 박진영, 전지현, 비, 조인성, 손예진 등이 아프리카 아이들을 위해 뭉쳤다.

아프리카의 빈민촌 아이들에게 잠재되어 있는 꿈의 스펙트럼을 열어주기 위한 후원 프로젝트인 ‘레인보우 프로젝트(무지개빛 꿈 & 맑은 나눔 잔치)’에 수많은 스타들이 참여, 자신들의 애장품 기부는 물론 따뜻한 메시지를 통해 훈훈한 마음을 함께 나누는 것.

9월 17~25일까지 뚝섬 전망문화콤플렉스 내 자벌레 전시관에서 개최되는 ‘레인보우 프로젝트’는 아프리카 아이들이 자신의 Black 안에 숨겨진 다채로운 ‘Rainbow Color’를 발견하고 희망을 가질 수 있도록 후원금 기부는 물론 자신이 가진 재능을 기부할 수 있도록 하는 프로젝트. 재능 기부 분야로는 그림, 조형 작품, 공연, 퍼포먼스, 연예인 소장품, 의료시술, 미용뿐 아니라 홍보, 자원봉사 등 다양하다.

이번 행사에는 배용준, 박진영, 전지현, 비, 조인성, 손예진, 이외에도 장혁, 김현중, 고수, 강지환, 이민기, 다니엘헤니, 송중기, 류승수, 강요환, 김수현(유리엘), 2PM, 미쓰에이 등 수많은 탑 스타들이 애장품을 나누며 기부에 동참했다.

이번 행사에 참여하는 조인성은 “아프리카 아이들을 돕는 레인보우 프로젝트 행사에 동참하게 돼 기쁘게 생각한다. 아이들이 꿈을 가지고 힘있게 살아갈 수 있도록 함께 마음을 모아 주길 바란다” 고 전했으며, 전지현 또한 “많은 이들에게 행복과 희망을 전할 수 있으면 좋겠다” 고 그 뜻을 전했다.

특히 자신이 직접 만든 팔찌를 기부한 손예진은 “제가 직접 만든 팔찌로 좋은 일에 동참할 수 있어서 너무 기쁘다” 고 따뜻한 마음을 나눠 눈길을 모은다.

9월 17일부터 총 9일간 펼쳐질 ‘레인보우 프로젝트’는 10년 간 검은 대륙 아프리카에서 가난으로인해 물감 살 돈이 없는 아이들에게 미술을 가르친 아트 디렉터 고영희와 ㈜브룸트리가 주최하며, 레인보우 프로젝트의 수익금은 전액 아프리카 아이들에게 후원될 예정이다.

한편 행사가 진행되는 뚝섬 전망문화콤플렉스 내 자벌레 전시관에서는 천사 같은 순수함을 지닌 아프리카 아이들의 그림 전시와 함께 기성 작가들이 참여한 전시도 마련되며, 각종 공연과 퍼포먼스, 마술 쇼 등 다채로운 행사가 열릴 예정이다.

Top Stars Gather To Support Underprivilged African Children

Top stars including the likes of Bae Yong-joon, Park Jin-young, Rain, Jeon Ji-hyeon, Jo In-Seong, and Son Ye-jin are all coming together for a common cause.

According to related officials, the stars have gathered for the Rainbow Project to inspire children from the slums of Africa to have dreams and more importantly achieve those dreams. The famous figures donated personal treasures, money, and their talents. They also gave messages of hope to encourage these kids to broaden their horizons. All donations collected will be used for the children in need.

An extensive list of stars took part: Bae Yong-joon, Park Jin-young, Rain, Jo In-Seong, Son Ye-jin, Jang Hyeok, Kim Hyun-joong, Go Soo, Kang Ji-hwan, Lee Min-ki, Daniel Henney, Song Joong-ki, Ryoo Seung-soo, Kang Yo-hwan, Kim Soo-hyeon-I, 2PM, and miss A.

Th Rainbow Project will be running from September 17-25 at the Ddookseom Observatory Culture Complex.

A charity program called "The Rainbow Project" to help open up the dreams of poor children in Africa allows the stars to donate their personal possessions and share their minds.

At the event which will be held from the 17th to the 25th in Seoul, donations of pictures and paintings, sculptures, performances, stars' possessions, medical techniques, beauty and promotion will take place.

Top stars such as Bae Yong-joon, Park Jin-young, Jeon Ji-hyeon, Rain, Jo In-Seong, Son Ye-jin, Jang Hyeok, Kim Hyun-joong, Ko Soo, Kang Ji-hwan, Lee Min-ki, Daniel Henney, Song Joong-ki, Ryoo Seung-soo, Kim Soo-hyeon-I, 2PM, Miss A and several others will participate in this charity.

Jo In-Seong said, "I am happy to be able to give a hand to those children Africa. I hope everyone gathers the support to help them live with dreams and goals".

Jeon Ji-hyeon also said, "I hope I can deliver hope and happiness to many".
Son Ye-jin donated a bracelet she made herself and said, "I am so happy my personally made bracelet could be a part of this".

"The Rainbow Project" is hosted by art director Ko Young-hee, who has taught art to those who couldn't afford it for ten years, and Broom Tree.
The profits made in this event will all be donated to African children.
